The Morning News announces their 2007 Tournament of Books – in which a bunch of books go head-to-head, winners advancing until one emerges on top. It’s like college basketball’s March Madness, or American Idol without the background singers. (Guys: if you want a judge to pipe in with loopy and possibly drunk comments, I could SO be your Paula.)
16 books are in the competition, and right now all us internetland folks get to vote on our favorites (see the American Idol resemblance?). The top two votegetters will “gain new life in this year’s Zombie Round.” Vote before Sunday the 25th, or don’t vote at all.
Wouldn’t it be cool if the college basketball tournament had a zombie round? With George Romero and John Landis as coaches?
