At Beatrice, Scott mentions a book by Stephen Graham Jones; Demon Theory is, apparently, written as the novelization of a horror film trilogy. Which sounds cool to me. Plus, this Stephen Graham Jones also blogs.
Another Steve Jones — the one from the Sex Pistols — now is on a soccer (ok, football) team called Hollywood United that includes the actor Anthony LaPaglia and Def Leppard guitarist Viv Campbell. Cheesy, yet awesome. Meanwhile Steve Jones is still doing Jonesy’s Jukebox, the best show on LA radio — full of mumbling rambles, splashes of good music, and ad-libbed songs about whatever happens to occur to him. I think it’s on from 12-2pm Pacific weekdays.
It makes strangely symmetrical sense then, speaking of Jonesy’s Jukebox, that Stephen Graham Jones has a story in the new Juked.
Jonesy’s Jukebox is on my top 5 list of things I miss most about living in LA (the weather and In n Out Burger are a couple of the others). Jonesy rocks.
