Mark mentioned literary tattoos so I thought I’d share mine. Which is not particularly unique, which at first made me sad — my tattoo is a cliche! — but then I realized that with this tattoo, that’s exactly as it should be.
Of course, you recognize it, don’t you?
I have never seen that symbol before in my life. Also, there is no cabal.
Some publisher’s logo?
Trumpet closed. Trump?
Someone should start a Flickr group.
I meant that Is From The Crying of Lot 49!! I mean Wow! Actually I think that is a good tat.
No brainer! I see a hut with a really long antenna out its roof. The round thing may be a satellite dish. Or a full moon. Oh… you said LITERARY? I thought you said LITERALLY!
Howdy. My friend ran across your page and pointed me this way. I have this same tattoo: http://www.flickr.com/photos/thescott365/2186622701/in/set-72157603604167994/
I, too, was initially disappointed that other people have the same tat, but then I finally settled on your same sentiment. Super cool.
I read “The Crying of Lot 49” earlier this year and thought about that symbol for DAYS! This is the first time I’ve seen it outside the book, but I’ve often thought of putting it on walls, stop signs, what have you.
Trystero. Awesome.
