The waffle house isn't just about the food, it's about the atmosphere. Working at number 81 off and on again for about 6 years, one can see it all. All walks of life visit the waffle house, and all walks of life work at the waffle house. It's not the food so much (though if the grill cook is great, so is the food), it's the fun. Name it and i've seen it. There isn't much that surprises me anymore. Isn’t california a bit pretentious for a waffle house. The waffle house isn’t just about the food, it’s about the atmosphere. Closest thing we have is Roscoe's Chicken 'N Waffles -- which are awesome, but you'd think there'd be room on the SoCal roadside somewhere for a Wafflehouse come on now! Hell, now I'm hungry.
