Today we announced that over at LAist I am stepping up as editor. It’s a great blog about our fair city with a dozen contributors, part of the Gothamist network. I will be writing tons and doing all that other stuff editors do: keeping track of things, making plans, putting my feet up on the desk.
I’m excited! But I must duck back under the transom now.
Talk about coincidence. On this same day I read your few-days-old kind words to my getting canned last month by the zoo I also read that you’re LAist’s new overseer, so I just wanted to say thanks for the empathy and congrats on the new gig.
Pardon me for being a stickler for the semantics, but aren’t you stepping up as LEAD editor? Come on, you know what Muhammad Ali said!
